Tekken Card Tournament releasing tomorrow

The Tekken series has been around since the dawn of time it seems but they have still managed to eek out new material at every stage.

Now it seems they are going into a brand new market. Trading Cards.

Tekken Card Tournament is slightly different to regular card games. It involves using your iPad, iPhone or android device to activate the cards for in game play.

This is the description:
TAKE THE FIGHT TO THE STREETS! Tekken Card Tournament is a collectible card game involving real-time duels. Collect the best cards to create your own ultimate deck to destroy opponents and win the top competitions.

Featuring the stunning 3D visuals players expect from Tekken, with electrifying turn-based card battling that’s fun right from the start and loaded with satisfying depth.

Tekken Card Tournament seamlessly integrates Namco’s high pedigree of fighting titles with Bandai’s expertise with physical card games by allowing the interactive card battle title to interact with the physical cards. The physical game booster packs will be available as a standalone card game, or added in players’ virtual game card deck by unique QR Code scanning. Scanning the game cards will give upgrades to online game characters or add a new character to the roster. In addition an Augmented Reality feature lets Tekken characters populate the real world simply by pointing a smartphone or tablet camera at the game cards.

My Little Pony XBOX Live Avatar is now available!

XBOX Live players are now able to dress their XBOX Live avatar in a range of My Little Pony gear.

Now for most gamers this probably won't appeal but it will for the people who like the funny side of dressing your character like a futuristic pony!

As spotted by Eurogamer, a range of items are now available including a range of hoodies (Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Applejack) for 160 Microsoft Points a piece.

Alternatively there are two My Little Pony backpacks at 240 MSP each or, at the top of the range, a Rainbow Dash pet for 320 MSP.

Apparently the selection is licensed from the current My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic series.

What do you think about dressing up avatars and having to pay money to do it?
I personally wouldn't spend money on it but I can see why people would.

Remember ONLY 2 DAYS LEFT to enter the competition! Winner will be announced on Thursday.

See you next time

Steam to appear at court over Pre-Owned later this year

This is a very hot topic at the moment and seems that it won't go away.

The Federation of German Consumer Organisations hopes to have Steam in court by the end of the year.

The body is challenging Steam’s refusal to alter its terms of service following last year’s ruling from the European Court of Justice that European consumers should have the right to re-sell their digital software purchases.

"Unfortunately a date of the trial is not fixed – we hope it will take place this year,” representative Eva Hoffschulte said, as reported by Gaming Blend. “Until then, it is not realistic that Valve will change their policy. But our chance to win the process is very good and that will be really an improvement for consumers: then they can sell their games to others.

"We have not checked the current directives, because first we have to finish our lawsuit against valve. Over and above that we are not able to take action against Valve, because of our financial and personnel situation."

Steam has said very little about the subject, simply confirming that it has no plans to offer re-sell options to its users.

So what do you think should happen? Do you think getting Downloadable content should be available to resell or do you think it will hurt the publishers.

There is still time to enter our competition which ends on Thursday!

See you next time :)
